 Amendment in HRA and Telephone Facility to persons reappointed after retirement

Sub. :- Amendment in the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Rajasthan hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996, namely;-

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force with immediate effect.

2. Amendment of rule 156.- (i) The existing sub-rule (2) of rule 156 and

entries there under shall be substituted by the following, namely;-

"(2) Transport facilities in appropriate cases shall be allowed to persons re-employed under rule, 151 after specific approval of Finance Department on case to case basis."

(il) After the existing sub-rule (2) of rule 156, new sub rule (3) shall be inserted by the following,namely;-

"(3) Following allowance and facilities shall be sanctioned to re-employed retired employee by the Administrative Department subject to following conditions:-

1. House Rent Allowance shall be admissible on last pay drawn subject to the condition that the re-employed retired employee produces Rent Deed and an affidavit to the effect that he/she or his/her spouse has no house in their own name or no accommodation is provided by Central/State Government or any of their Public Sector Undertaking to his/her spouse at the place of re-employment."

2. Telephone Facility- 100% of facility allowed to officers of equivalent rank.

3. Medical Facility to re-employed retired employee shall be as per RGHS.
